Admissions and recognition: what to check

Entry requirements differ by level, institution and sometimes by campus: prior education, language tests, work experience and intake dates are shown on each program profile with the page they came from.

Recognition is recorded with its scope. An institution’s recognition, the authority to confer a degree, a program accreditation and an association membership are different facts, and none of them is extended to another campus or to a partner automatically. Rankings are not recognition.

Studying hospitality management in Türkiye

Hospitality degrees in Türkiye are offered mainly by private foundation universities and public universities under names such as Tourism and Hotel Management, Hotel Management or Tourism Management. Associate (short-cycle) and bachelor's programmes are both published with national qualification levels in university course catalogues.

Languages and admissions

Teaching languages. Programmes are taught in Turkish or English; English-taught programmes typically require proof of English or an English preparatory year (for example Özyeğin University and Bilkent University).

Admissions. Turkish citizens enter through national examinations; international applicants are assessed on their own national exams and diplomas, and universities publish separate international tuition schedules. Source
